- If weather conditions dictate, contact the home team regarding possible cancellation or delay
(a league directory is available on the web site)
- Arrive at the field 60 minutes before scheduled starting time
- Check-in with field management; rub up baseballs if necessary
- A crew may choose to wear black, powder blue with black trim, or cream shirts with the black CBUA hat but the crew must be dressed alike
- Arrive on the field and ready to umpire 10 minutes before scheduled starting time
- The official playing rules are the 2009 NCAA Baseball Rules
- Report ANY ejections via phone or e-mail within 24 hours of the incident to the commissioner or supervisor of umpires
- Complete ejection report (found on The Arbiter web site) within 48 hours of the incident
- As per NCAA policy, the use of tobacco products is strictly prohibited. A violation of this rule will result in the suspension of the umpire from the league.
